- 13km of reef edge and back reef sand floors to explore
- Anemones and clumps of staghorn coral are regular features
- Giant clams perch on the shallow reeftop and bommies
- Sweetlip, cod and trout are regulars
- Schools of damsels are common
- Butterflyfish and angelfish feed among the coral and add more splashes of colour
- Good swim-throughs up into the reef
- Whitetip reef sharks and lagoon rays often rest on the sandy floor
- See the long white tentacles a terrebellid worm feeding on the coral
- Notice the daytime coral with its polyps out about 6 to 10cm
