Since 1983 Pro Dive Cairns has developed and maintained an international reputation as the premier dive company in Cairns. Their modern purpose built diver training centre provides some of the best facilities available. The 3 day adventure visits up to four easterly Outer Great Barrier Reef locations. The various sites were selected for their extravagance of marine life and excellent visibility and are rarely visited by other vessels. The trip is suited to all levels of diver training, from novice - experienced divers and gives passengers the opportunity to view magnificent hard & soft corals, giant clams, turtles, stingrays and the largest variety of tropical fish both large & small.
On the 3 day trip, you will complete your 4 training dives which will complete your PADI Open Water certification. You are now a certified diver! After this you are able to go on and enjoy up to 5 more dives as a recreational diver, one of which is a night dive guided by your instructor.
On your return to Cairns passengers and crew get together at a local restaurant to celebrate the conclusion of your Great Barrier Reef experience.

- Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday & Monday (everyday except Tuesday) all year round
- German speaking staff available onboard Thursday & Sunday departures

Itinerary
- Day 1: Diving the Outer Great Barrier Reef
- 05:45 Complimentary Hotel Transfer.
- 06:15 06:15 Check-In at Dive Shop, corner of Shields & Grafton Streets, Cairns
- 07:00 Depart Cairns for 3days 2 nights of fantastic diving on the Great Barrier Reef
- 11:30 Your first Training Dive in the ocean before lunch and second dive after lunch. You will also have a lot of time for snorkelling
- Day 2: More Great Diving
- 06:30 Third Training Dive before Breakfast. This will be the deepest training dive for your certification
- 10:30 The last Training Dive for your PADI Open Water Certification Course. Now You are a Certified Diver!!!
- 14:30 Your first pleasure dive as a certified diver
- 19:00 A guided night dive after dinner. Another great experience!
- Day 3: More diving and Return to Cairns
- 06:00 Three more pleasure dives before lunch
- 15:30 Return to Cairns
- 16:30 Complimentary Hotel Transfer service available
- 19:30 Meet again for a farewell dinner

Extras
- An additional fee of $45 per person, which includes a $15 Government Environmental Management Charge as well as a Fuel Levy, a Port Departure Tax and Administration costs payable at the end of the trip.
Requirements
- Ability to swim
- PADI Open Water referral documentation
- Minimum age is 12 years subject to a medical assessment as per AS4005.1. Children under the age of 15 must be accompanied by parent or adult over the age of 18 years.
- An AS4005.1 Dive Medical is required. Some medical conditions may preclude you from diving. Asthma, diabetes, epilepsy and pregnancy are the most common ones encountered. Children must be accompanied by parent or guardian during the medical assessment.
