Ocean Spirit I is a very large sailing catamaran that takes passengers out to the beautiful Michaelmas Cay.
This trip is included in the range as it is uniquely different. It is 5 star material and offers passengers a total reef experience with all the trimmings. The crew to passenger ratio is very high, and they offer excellent service.
Michaelmas Cay itself is the largest bird nesting rookery in the southern hemisphere and a beautiful, but fragile place.
The Great Barrier Marine Park Authority has placed huge restrictions on the Cay over the last few years, and who knows one day it may even close to tourists altogether.
If it is relaxation combined with a picturesque island, excellent food and topped off with a serenaded leisurely sail home with glass of bubbly pick this one.
Dive code is SSI, however other accredited certifications are welcome.
Departure and Return
- Daily from Cairns Marlin Jetty (Reef Fleet Terminal) at 8.30am
- Returns at 5.00pm
